My Darkest Prayer

Nathan Waymaker, a former Marine and Sheriff's deputy, is known in his small Southern town for his ability to handle difficult situations. He can be found working at his cousin's funeral home or dealing with troublemakers at his favorite bar. When a local minister is found dead and the police seem to be dragging their feet on the investigation, Nathan is approached by the parishioners who seek his help.

Initially expecting a simple payday, Nathan soon finds himself immersed in a chaotic world filled with wannabe gangsters, ruthless crime bosses, adult film actors, corrupt cops, and a deceitful preacher and his enigmatic wife. As he navigates the murky waters of town corruption, Nathan must utilize all of his diverse skills and quick thinking. Meanwhile, his own dark secrets threaten to emerge.

Nathan's reputation precedes him as a man who can handle any situation, but this new case proves to be his most challenging yet. Will he be able to unravel the complex web of deceit and bring justice to the small town, or will he be overwhelmed by the dangerous forces at play?
